Bio
I have always gravitated toward those who are hurting or wrestling with life’s challenges and have a deep desire to see people find hope and healing. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over 15 years in college ministry, walking alongside individuals through some of life’s most difficult seasons. Today, I bring that same compassion into my counselling practice, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, make sense of their story, and move toward meaningful change.
I grew up on the Canadian prairies and now call Vancouver Island home, where I live with my wife and our three children. While I take the hard parts of life seriously, I also believe there’s room for laughter and joy along the way. When I’m not counselling, you’ll usually find me mountain biking, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or making memories on family adventures.
My Approach
I seek to cultivate rich therapeutic relationships to help people find healing and wholeness. I have a compassionate and empathic approach, and I work with people to discover and achieve their goals for therapy. I will provide a friendly and non-judgmental space for you to be heard and understood, helping you uncover new growth in your life.
My approach utilizes narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and emotion-focused therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relational challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, I am here to help you navigate your journey.
