Bio

Hi, I’m Ron. For over twenty years as a Professor of Music and Voice, I had a front-row seat to a powerful truth: we all carry tension and even trauma in our bodies from our life experiences. I saw that my desire wasn’t just to teach performance, but to come alongside people who were hurting. My work with singers created a natural bridge into the world of counseling, where I now help people navigate what life has thrown at them.

This journey has been a privilege, and I bring a unique perspective to my work—along with a bit of a creative side. I’ve performed everything from musical theatre to opera, and even had the honor of singing for King Charles. When I’m not counseling, I enjoy making music, riding horses, and spending time with my family.

My Approach

I approach every session with compassion and curiosity, creating an inviting and non-judgmental space where it is safe to heal. My first goal is to build a strong connection with you, listening with an empathic presence to understand your unique story. Your life experiences have shaped who you are, and our work will always be tailored to your specific needs.

Therapy with me is a collaborative journey. We will work together to establish your goals and find the right tools to help you move forward with resilience and freedom. My focus is on helping you understand not just how you arrived where you are, but how to find practical, effective ways to cope, heal, and grow.

I invite you to schedule a free, 20-minute consultation. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other and decide if we are a good fit.
